Pub and restaurant operator Mitchells & Butler, whose other brands include Harvester, O’Neills and All Bar One, are on site and building a new Toby Carvery pub on land at Coldharbour Road, Gravesend. The one acre site was bought from Capital Enterprise Centres, for whom Bishop Whitehead acted.

Romney House in Romney Place, Maidstone has been bought by a private individual for £300,000. The listed office building dates back to the mid 17th Century and retains many original features including a ‘priest hole’ rumoured to have been used during the English Civil War. Bishop Whitehead acted for the vendors.
Acting on behalf of the Pension Fund owners, Bishop Whitehead have let 9,500 sq.ft. Unit FF St Michaels Close, Aylesford to West Kent Primary Care Trust at £6.75 per sq.ft. In a busy period on the estate the firm have also agreed terms with Econ Insulations to take a new lease on the 32,000 sq.ft. Unit F1-F2.
Gillingham based engineers Wozair have taken 16,500 sq.ft. at Commissioners Road, Strood in order to facilitate ongoing growth in their business. The company, who occupy 4 units at Gillingham Business Park, were advised by Bishop Whitehead.
Defying current economic conditions Bishop Whitehead invited ‘best bids’ in order to conclude the sale of a listed office building at 2-3 Bedford Place, Maidstone. The 4,000 sq.ft. building was eventually sold to a private investor for £450,000.
